A proposal for a creative office space with a public cafe and plaza. The design of this mid-rise building was solely focused on vertical circulation and how the user interacts with the space. As you circulate up the building, the floor plates are torqued on a rear axis, creating an atrium space the spans from the roof the first floor, bringing natural light within. The main open office program is centralized, pushing the smaller program spaces the the outside edges of the building. A solar screening system is mounted to the primary structure, which provides necessary sun shading, while creating unique outdoor spaces for its users.
